more paperie
The great thing about doing your own graphic design is that you can easily achieve a coordinated look in all your printed supplies.
You’ve seen the invite, the map and the monogram. Now, I’m sharing two more. First one is our menu card:

I told Maja, our event stylist, to place a menu card for each seat. And I volunteered to design and print all 150 of them. During our mock setup, I printed a few pieces to see how it will go with the table setting that she prepared for us. And we were surprised that it complements the linen and the accent leaves very well.

Next paperie is our Thank You card:

Of course, wedding favors and gifts are the best excuses for creating Thank You cards. We used them in every wrapped box, paper bag and basket. It blends nicely with the color of our silk ribbons as well.

Coordinated papers. Pure joy!

nice cards! just noticed, there’s a slight typo in your menu card. it should be “quiche” not “qucihe”. hope this helps! advanced best wishes on your wedding
@rose, oh no! we’re done printing them. but nevermind, i’ll just tell the photog not to focus on the ‘quiche’. hehehe thanks =)

i’ve got more up my sleeves. i have yet to post my other DIYs. hehehe. goodluck on your big day!
that’s nice to hear
btw, sis where do you buy good papers sa MNL? ndi ba sila mahal?
i just buy papers from National Bookstore, they’re affordable but the quality (thickness, texture, etc) do not compare to the ones used by professional printers. but for someone on a budget (like we were, hehehe), it’s good enough. =)
hi…love your blog…so many DIY ideas. we’re also planning to DIY our wedding invites, just want to know where you got the designs? like, is there a website where i can download/copy graphic designs? what fonts did you use?
@Aimee, thanks for dropping by. the images and graphics were from my hubby’s collection. he collected these images overtime from various websites so i don’t know which sites exactly. the fonts were also his. i think for our invitation, i used 4 fonts: bickham script two, p22zanerfour, trajan pro and nuptial script or medici script.
I super love your blog! I chanced upon it while searching for feedback on Passion Cooks. The amount of time that you spent to ensure that the details of your wedding is perfect is simply amazing!
