We got them last Friday. And what can I say? I absolutely adore them!
It’s beautiful, yet not too flashy so it’s suitable for everyday use. Simple. Exactly the way we want them.
The combination of yellow and white gold, and shiny and matte surfaces gives them texture that make them a tad different from the usual wedding bands.
And I love the fact that I can wear it with either my gold or silver accessories.
The engravings are handcrafted which makes them more special, IMO. Much like an allegory of how love can never be perfect, but always beautiful.
Oh, I’m becoming poetic because of them.

@ U.Pink, thanks. wedding is on january next year. our rings are 6 months earlier. Lol! I hope I won’t put on more weight between now and the wedding day, or my ring won’t fit in my finger anymore. =)

Hi, I liked ur rings…Simple and elegant! we would like to have that kind of design but we prefer white gold only. what’s the size of your ring (mm and grms) ??
Thanks, we like them a lot, too! I can’t remember the exact sizes of the rings. I think I’m 4 (or 4 1/2) and hubby is 8. Thickness is 1mm (edges) to 1.5mm (middle bulge). I don’t know how much they weigh in grams, but they’re 14K white and yellow gold.
Actually, we sent them back to the jeweler because hubby’s finger grew from size 8 to 10 after the wedding. Resizing is free, we’ll just have to pay for the gold that will be added to adjust his ring to a bigger size. I sent mine in as well, for cleaning. So we’re ringless now.
I mean, what’s the width size of your ring? 4mm or 5mm. i don’t know kc the standard size of the ring. i think your ring width size is different size from ur hubby’s ring width size base from the pics. hehe!
I don’t remember the exact width size, maybe 4 sakin, 6 kay hubby. Yes, his is wider kasi di bagay sa kanya yung manipis na singsing.
V-Gem quoted me for this type of ring P43K++
Really? For this exact design? Did you show the photo of our rings? I know a couple kasi who wanted the same wave pattern but they want to separate the yellow gold portion from the white with diamonds, lots of diamonds. I think V-gem quoted them P40k++ for that because of the number of diamonds they have to use. But for this design, P43k++ is ridiculous.

did you show the photo? baka naconfuse sila sa size ng stones. pwede din kasing bigger diamonds ang gamitin. we booked them sa bridal fair, kaya we got 20% off from the price of the rings, so more or less P20k yung totoong price niya. we also got discount for the 3 small stones which were not part of the original design. but even with other jewelers, i’m sure this design won’t cost you more than P30k (assuming the price of gold has inflated).
Hi! i also booked with V-Gem last june 2010. they had a price increase kasi since nagmahal ang price ng gold dito sa atin. my rings was like 35++, okay na rin kasi 12months lay away plan naman and it was a good deal na rin… mabait kasi staff’s nila & even the owner. Sis i think kaya umabot ng 43k++ coz of your specs.. kasi yung pricing nila depends on your finger size, width, stones & thickness.. and si ms. sheng might booked a few months before the price increase..

We booked them around May or June 2009. So it’s only a little over a year ago. I was just shocked that they would quote 43k for the same ring design kasi I feel it’s [the design] is too simple for such amount. Even with stones, (the stones in my ring were small, the smallest size I believe), I still don’t think it’s worth 43k. Baka nagkaroon lang ng misunderstanding sa actual design. But if it’s really 43k, grabe sobrang mahal naman nun.

Maybe it’s because of their sizes & specs.. my cousin recently made a booking with them, they closed the deal to 55k! Why? coz my cousin’s finger size is 14 and his fiancee is 10. pretty big right? and their desired width is 6mm & 7mm. It is also important din kasi that you explain your specifications to your jewelers. not just to V-Gem but to any jewelers. kasi you might say like, these jeweler is mahal, the other one is super mura, without checking the specifications of the other one. after all, quality is very important coz hindi lang wedding rings yan, investment din yan
