One of, if not my biggest regret on our wedding was that I didn’t give much thought about my bridal ensemble. I guess you could say I cared about how the reception will look like more than my own appearance. As a result, I chose the wrong wedding gown twice, used a bridal bag with a wrong shade of white and at 10 p.m. on the eve of our wedding, I was asking my mom if she has any jewelries–earrings, necklace, anything–that I can use. I actually forgot to get myself some bridal accessories. But because my mom is not a jewelry-person, she had nothing to lend me but the pearl earrings that she was supposed to wear the next day, our wedding day.
So I kind of feel envious of the brides who were sure of how they want to look and who looked so put-together on the day that they walked down the aisle. And if I’d be allowed to do it over again, I’d definitely consider wearing something like this:

This dainty fingerless lace gloves is a DIY wedding project of Grace, another creative DIY bride who wanted to add a touch of lace in her wedding wardrobe. It was just so lovely and I immediately fell in love with the idea. And I agree when she said that lace can instantly lend some sense of romance and elegance to any dress, which makes it perfect for the bridal ensemble, whether used as the fabric of the gown or as subtle accents, like in the case of this lace wedding gloves.

If you’re interested and also fancy wearing something like this, you can check out the story on her blog on how she made this beautiful DIY wedding project, and hopefully, it will give you an idea how to do it on your own.
Hi, Sheng! Thanks for the feature. Be inspired!
