I used to be a bag lover. Actually, I still am. But since I started working online, I haven’t bought myself a new one yet. I’m always hesitating because I really don’t go out as often as before and I feel that bags are more like a luxury than a necessity for me now. All my previous bags were just collecting dusts in the closet so I had to give them away because I rarely use them.
But sometimes, I think of retiring my old canvas tote bag. It served me years already, and for the last couple of years, it’s the only bag that I used wherever I go. Although, I haven’t really decided when will I make that purchase. The tote bag is old, but not worn-out old and I still love using it. Or maybe it’s because I haven’t found an apt replacement yet. Something as functional and as versatile and will fit my current lifestyle, which is pretty much stay-at-home with occasional trips to the mall.
So if I do buy a new bag, what will it be?
Hmm, I have a preference for satchels and totes, especially white-colored ones or those with very striking colors. Leather or canvas, it doesn’t matter as long as it looks sturdy and don’t get dirty fast. I love bags with characters, and if I were to choose, these will definitely top my lists. I’m just not sure if they can play the all-around bag role. But they are really beautiful.
I suddenly miss shopping for bags.

Ako, I love the first bag, yung Rampage Krista. Yung white Cole Haan is $300++ and the other one (gunmetal) is $200++. Ang mahal, hehe. Don’t know how much it costs here. Baka sa multiply meron. But I won’t be buying, I’m just drooling over these bags. =)

I’m also a telecommuter (although not a freelancer). When I buy a new stuff, I always think “what the hell will I use this for?” I only go out once or twice a week, during hubby’s off. So no, I don’t buy a lot of stuff anymore. It’s the perk of working from home.

Hi! don’t know how I stumbled into your blog but I’m glad I did.
I actually have the Steve Madden BCouture Satchel, but in black. It’s really pretty to look at but not that practical to use, since it can’t be fully closed and so I frequently hug it tightly for fear that any of its contents might get stolen. So if you want to use this as an everyday type of bag, I’d advise against it. I don’t feel so secure using it myself.
I like your taste in bags, very classy. I think we will get along great.

I think it’s through GT, or from one of my comments on your blog
Wow, the Steve Madden bag is really beautiful. But I’m on a tight budget now and won’t be able to afford any of these bags.
Thanks, if you find my taste in bags “classy”. Whenever I choose or buy a bag, there’s one criteria that I look for. It has to speak to me. Haha! Weird, I know, but bags can speak. The moment I hear a bag that says “buy me! buy me!”, that’s the sign. And all these bags spoke to me, yes even in pictures. Lol!
